Scientific and reasonable sediment management is the key to the stability of algae ecosystem

Algae are photosynthesizing every day, growing every day.  Must continuously consume nutrients in the water.  Nitrogen and phosphorus can come from daily feed inputs, and carbon dioxide can come from fish and shrimp breathing and atmospheric replenishment, but some micronutrients are not necessarily continuously provided.  As a result, there will be fewer and fewer of these micronutrients.

After the algae absorb these micronutrients, only a small amount is deposited in the bodies of the ultimate productive product, filter-feeding fish, and most of it is deposited as organic minerals along with the feces to the bottom of the pond.

Microorganisms in the pond bottom mud further decompose these organic minerals into inorganic minerals, in the case of some variational elements, in an oxidized state in the oxygen state and in a reduced state in the absence of oxygen.

Only a very small proportion of these micronutrients mineralized by microorganisms in the bottom mud can diffuse into the pond water for reuse by algae, and most remain in the silt.  Thus a steady stream of micronutrients (mainly trace elements) from the water moves up the food chain to the silt as photosynthesis takes place.  This is why "tangni" flowers and vegetables are very good reasons.

With the increase of aquaculture density, the turnover rate of algae is accelerated, which is more likely to lead to the lack of trace elements in water.  Therefore, some measures must be taken to promote the trace elements trapped in the bottom mud to return to the water body and re-enter the pond photosynthetic autotrophic ecological cycle.  Otherwise, the lack of trace elements in pond water will lead to the replacement or aging of algae population or even algae dumping.

Therefore, scientific and reasonable sediment management is the key to the stability of algae ecosystem.  This is the truth of the saying, "Raise fish before water, and water before mud."
